1.

Why this statement exists

We build AI-powered products and help clients adopt AI responsibly. This statement explains the principles that guide how we build, and how we advise clients to build. It is effective as of May 1, 2026.

2.

Our principles

People stay in the loop on decisions that matter.

We design our AI systems, and advise our clients to design theirs, so that consequential decisions retain meaningful human oversight rather than being fully automated without a human able to review or override the outcome. In practice, this means our AI products are built so a qualified person reviews and approves any recommendation before it reaches a client or end user — our wealth advisory platform, for example, never sends anything to a client without the advisor reviewing it first.

We build for reliability, not just capability.

A capable AI system that fails unpredictably in production is not something we consider done. We hold our own products to the same production-reliability standard we'd expect from any other software we ship.

We are transparent about what our AI systems do — and don't do.

We aim to be clear with clients and users about the capabilities and limitations of the AI systems we build, rather than overstating what they can reliably do.

We take fairness seriously.

Before an AI system we've built goes into production, we review its outputs for patterns that could disadvantage particular groups of users, and we correct issues we find before launch rather than after.

We protect the data used to build and run our AI systems.

Personal and business data used in connection with our AI products and services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and our Trust & Security practices — including our position on whether client data is ever used to train or improve AI models.

We advise clients honestly, even when the honest answer is “not yet.”

Part of our consulting practice exists specifically to help clients evaluate whether an AI use case is actually appropriate and ready for their business — not simply to encourage adoption regardless of fit.
